Woodland Friends Church

"You are my friends if you do what I command." -Jesus Christ, John 15:14

About Us

Woodland Friends Church is an evangelical Christian church located in Woodland, Idaho, a community founded in 1896 by Quaker (Friends) pioneers from Kansas. Our meetinghouse is about 12 miles from Kamiah on Woodland Rd. (Access from US Highway 12, at the east end of the bridge over the Clearwater River at the east end of Kamiah.)

We meet on Sundays at 9:45 AM for Sunday School, and 11:00 AM for worship. Times for other meetings, such as weekly Bible study, can be obtained by calling our pastor at 208-935-2244. We welcome anyone who loves the Lord and wants to worship Him and fellowship with His followers, or who just wants to get to know us and our community a little better.

On the first Sunday of most months, we have a potluck meal after the worship service. This is a good opportunity for newcomers or visitors to get acquainted in our community. (But that's not why we do it; we just like potlucks.)

We also own and operate the nearby historic Woodland Schoolhouse Community Building, which is used for various community activities, including the annual Fourth of July picnic and Thanksgiving potluck.

We are part of the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends. More about Friends' belief and practice can be found on their website.
